We all tried to sleep in after going to bed so late, but we were all awake by 9. The funny thing is, no one got up. We laid in our beds for at least an hour, still feeling groggy from lack of sleep. I did finally get up and start breakfast and Adam started some laundry - his clothes got SO muddy with all of the rain last night. They were shooting a nighttime fight scene. The actors were down in the mud throwing punches and everyone was so cold!
We didn't have much of a plan for the day. We tried to talk Jacob into a haircut, but for some reason he gets really freaked out at the idea of a stranger touching his head. I brought our clippers, but they're old and we don't have the right converter to make them work - so I haven't been able to do haircuts. However, we have since learned that Christianne has clippers that work, so we may just borrow hers. We didn't have a ton of time left by the time we actually left home before Adam had to meet with his cameraman - they still have some scenes to "choreograph" - they have to decided how to cover each scene, deciding where the camera needs to be to cover each character and the scenery around them so it will all edit together.
We decided to try a new restaurant on our favorite Pilies (Castle) Street called Grey. I think my brother-in-law could be in heaven here working to restore these old buildings. I don't know what once stood here, but there were some cool brick arches in this place that had obviously been built around.
Tyson is definitely in missionary prep mode. We passed several shops that we stopped in so he could look at suits and winter coats. We didn't find anything - yet. Our final stop before Adam had to meet with Wes was at an ice cream shop - where we ran into Micah and Matt Whitaker. Micah is one of Adam's business partners and he's here until tomorrow, but has been here to be a part of the shoot. Matt wrote the script for True Mettle and is actively working to get funding to shoot his own movie he wants to make with Kaleidoscope, which he hopes to also film here in Lithuania with Baltic Films. They were looking for things to do, so I told them where to find the crypt tour and to see the bell tower.
Since we hosted the Sunday dinner last week, the Kendalls decided to host a pizza night tonight before Micah, John Foss and Ethan Vincent head back home. Ethan is filming the "Making Of" and will actually be an actor in one of the scenes of the movie, so he'll be back. He lives Vienna and is the one who picked us up at the airport when we went there last year. But being so much closer to home, he can easily travel back and forth.
The film makers in Utah really are an amazing group. All of these guys have worked on projects together over the years, so there is a lot of camaraderie between everyone. And those assembled for this project are just really good people, so it was a peaceful evening of visiting with friends.

Sister Weist asked me to play again for Sacrament Meeting, so I'm assuming that will be a regular thing until we go home. At least the songs were a little easier this week. The missionaries had zone conference of Friday, so President and Sister Harding, the mission president from Lindon, UT, were the speakers in church. They serve over a mission that covers 4 languages, so I can only imagine the challenges of that. They spoke with interpreters, which meant we didn't need interpreters for their talks. We enjoyed visiting with them afterwards. They already knew about us and why were here. They have been serving for 2 1/2 years, so they will be replaced in July.
We had to say goodbye to 2 of the missionaries we've come to love. Sis Hudson is going home on Thursday and Elder Eardley is being transferred to Riga, Latvia. Tyson was particularly bummed by that transfer since they've kind of hit it off. He has been instrumental in Tyson's growing excitement over serving a mission. I'm so thankful for the influence of the missionaries that we've had here that we just don't get at home.

Elder Eardley with one of the Russian families - he serves in the Branch Presidency and I believe she is in Primary. I don't know their names, but not from a lack of trying. It is just something really Russian,
