This morning was boring. There was so much to catch up on with school, work, laundry, grocery shopping and cleaning that there is not much to report. However, it was beautiful outside, so after groceries, we came home and got the meat cooking for dinner and then just had to head back out to enjoy the warm-ish day. Adam and Tyson were at the shoot. Tyson is going to help by writing blog posts for BYU-tv. Jacob spent the afternoon hanging out with Braedon Kendall. So Sarah and I were totally free! We went out in our medium weight coats and it was heaven! We just want the rain in the forecast for the next 5 days to go away! It is going to cause a mud nightmare for the shoot.
A few days ago we found another vintage shop that we decided to go back to. It was a consignment shop with some really cool things. However, everything we liked was the wrong size. I did find a great pair of jeans for Adam and a necklace I liked. We then wandered around the Vilnius University campus and happened to find a student practicing the organ at the church on campus.
The best part of our day was having the Sister Missionaries over for dinner. We knew they could come during the shoot and eat with just us girls, although Jacob finally came home before we were done. We did a repeat dinner of Sunday night, knowing that a roast beef dinner is something they don't really get here. Sarah has mastered the recipe for making chocolate chip cookies with the ingredients here. They were delicious tonight. And since there were fewer of us, we were able to send some home with them. If was so fun to learn more about being a missionary here and to hear of the struggles of the saints and how strong they are in their testimonies. What a blessing to have the missionaries in our home!
Adam sent me this shot of their filming yesterday - the 2 pilots who had to parachute into Germany when their plane was shot down.
